Both Topanga residents and non-residents are able to enroll at Topanga Elementary.
First preference goes to all pupils residing within the school’s attendance boundaries and siblings of current pupils. However, we anticipate being able to accept Charter applicants living outside of our school’s attendance boundaries. The lottery permit process begins in early February through March. See the lottery permit requirements for more information.
Charter applications for non residents will be available in the school office from February 6, 2012 through March 29, 2012. A public lottery drawing will take place on April 13th. Any known seats will be filled by pulled lottery applicants and others will be placed on a waiting list until it can be determined whether or not more spaces will be available.
Applications for residents will be available towards the end of April.
The school office hours for are 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
