The Scene: “Bellini’s Newsstand”

I just finished reading a wonderful book called, “The Cricket in Times Square.” This is a little summary I wrote about the scene, “The Bellini’s Newsstand.”

Chester (the cricket) was found in a pile of leaves by a young boy “Mario.” He brings him back to his family newsstand and makes him a home out of a tissue box. He places on an open drawer he broke when he was 5 or 6. Mama Bellini (Mario’s mother) says he may not keep the cricket. But . . . Papa Bellini (Mario’s father) says he may but only in the newsstand.
