The Scene: ÒBelliniÕs
NewsstandÓ
I just
finished reading a wonderful book called, ÒThe Cricket in Times Square.Ó This is a little summary I wrote about
the scene, ÒThe BelliniÕs Newsstand.Ó
Chester
(the cricket) was found in a pile of leaves by a young boy ÒMario.Ó He brings him back to his family
newsstand and makes him a home out of a tissue box. He places on an open drawer he broke when he was 5 or
6. Mama Bellini (MarioÕs mother)
says he may not keep the cricket.
But . . . Papa Bellini (MarioÕs father) says he may but only in the
newsstand.
ThatÕs all Folks!
