• Find the box called ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS.
• Scroll to TOPANGA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and click on it. You will then be in our school's library catalog. 

USING OUR OPAC

• To search our OPAC, select
• QUICK SEARCH,
• VISUAL SEARCH, or
• READING PROGRAMS using the tabs at the top of the page. 
• Type your search keyword, and make a selection from the four choices in the center of the page: 
  • EVERYTHING searches all fields.   
  • TITLE searches the title field.
  • AUTHOR searches for an author's name.  Last names are more specific.
  • SUBJECT searches for a subject heading within an item's record.

Search for books in a series by typing in the name of the series like "Junie B. Jones," "Goosebumps," or "A Series of Unfortunate Events" and clicking on the Everything search.

A list will appear with all the titles that meet your criteria.  It will include the names of the books, their authors, and their call numbers.  If you want to see if the book is on the shelf or to read more about the book, click on SEE MORE or the picture of the book's cover.  To keep a list, choose KEEP for each book you like and then go to KEEPERS and print out the list from your computer.  A brief list will give you the call number, author, and title to help you find your book at school.

You can also click on any word or words that turn your cursor (arrow) into a hand.  Look at MORE BY THIS AUTHOR, SUBJECT TERM, SERIES, and other options.

Take your time browsing our catalog. Get used to looking for your books and when you're in the library, finding them on the shelves. As always, enjoy!
