What is a listserv?

Definition: An e-mail program or electronic mailing list that allows the distribution of messages to many individuals in one mailing and allows multiple computer users to connect to a single system for communication or discussion. Listserv groups can number in the millions, or may be small groups of people involved in class discussions. (http://distancelearn.about.com/library/glossary)

(where your name is the name you wish to use. Your email address will be automatically obtained from the email message you send to the LISTSERV.)
