TECS has the following expectations from each of our students, parents, and guardians who attend TECS:
- Maintain strong attendance record during the 180 days of school. Each day is an important component of the instructional program of our students. Absenteeism in excess of 10% of the school year is unsatisfactory. There are significant holiday breaks during the September to June timeline. The school does maintain a “be at school policy” and missed work is expected to be completed.
- Timeliness is a life skill that we strive to instill in our students. TECS expects on time arrival for our students each day. Tardiness in excess of 10% of the school year is unsatisfactory.
- Our positive school program is greatly influenced by the exceptional commitment of parents and guardians who volunteer at our school. We have a “20 Hour Power Pledge” for every family to be completed by each family within the school year.
Families who struggle to meet these guidelines should give proper consideration regarding their decision to submit an application for acceptance to this charter school lottery. Failure to meet these school guidelines may jeopardize your student’s permit status at this school. We look forward to building a collaborative and meaningful learning experience for you and your child.
