This is a very important weekend for our school – Lion King Jr. is finally here! With much of our student body performing, it’s an exciting time for all Topanga Elementary families. I’ve enjoyed all the plays I’ve seen starring our students in the last three years, and I know this year’s show will be a delight.
Thank you to all parents who helped us to safely allow our upper grade students to express themselves on March 14th. May the kindness and caring expressed by our students continue to grow as our students mature and go out into the world.
Lost and... Still Lost?
We are still finding large numbers of coat, jackets, sweaters and lunchboxes on our playgrounds after school. While our Lost and Found continues to grow, some parents have expressed the concern that perhaps some jackets have mistakenly found their way into the wrong home.
Please take a look at any item of clothing that you’ve taken from the Lost and Found, or an unfamiliar item your child may have taken home by mistake. If you find it belongs to someone else, kindly bring it back to school so we can reunite it with its owner. Thanks!
Here Comes Lion King Jr.!
Even at this late date, there are still tickets available:
Interested in volunteering? The play still needs help – go to:
And from one of the producers: “Bring cash and an empty stomach; the food will not be hot dogs and burgers, it will be a sumptuous array, a royal feast, you will regret it if you eat before you arrive. The food and libations will be Michelin Star worthy. Plus, don't buy your star his/her bouquet anywhere else except from us because Karen Bovee's bouquets are famed and better than anything you could buy anywhere else (not to mention all of this supports our fundraising efforts.)
The 4th annual TECS Science Fair is April 12-13
Please mark your calendars; the 4th Annual Topanga Elementary School Science Fair is April 12-13.
