The Planet Bravo Program has been supported by TEP at Topanga Elementary Charter since 2014. The program uses tools that really engage kids in technology; like how to make video games, apps and websites. Mr Cortez says Planet Bravo's main aim is "to help kids grow with technology in fun and stimulating ways". Planet Bravo was started by former teacher Danny Peseta in 2003. Peseta developed the lesson plans based off of his experience as a teacher and Panet Bravo now supplies technology education to over 27 California schools. The Planet Bravo program works closely with the schools teachers to support the core curriculum. From TK to 5th grade the students enjoy learning new computer and keyboard skills and also online safety and citizenship in our dedicated computer lab.
