Information for students

BIG BUDDIES / LITTLE BUDDIES

Kinder students are paired with 5th graders, a culminating year highlight for many students and a wonderful opportunity for the youngest, newest students to find a friendly face and role model in the older grade. As Amy Weisberg, teacher of TK explains in her blog: "The children really enjoy spending time with the big kids and besides talking, the Big Buddies read them stories and have a little play time on the yard."

SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL

Class representatives elected from 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders. Senior positions include treasurer, historian, secretary, vice-president and president who are elected from the 4th and 5th grade classes. Elections to be held in November, to coincide with the presidential election.

Friday Morning Assembly

Friday mornings are started with a school wide assembly to which all parents are invited. Pledge of allegiance, class presentations, monthly attendance awards, and guest speakers.

spirit days

School spirit days may include perennial favorite 'Pajamarama' usually to coincide with Book Fair, and 'onesie' day, siblings day and any number of other wild and wacky ways that the School Student Council dream up to make your year extra fun!

Code of Conduct

In order for our students to receive a high quality standards-based education, it is important and expected that all students adhere to the Code of Conduct.
